Codemasters are currently working on a new F1 title but this one isn’t their usual
style of Formula 1 game, this one lets you take on the role of an F1 driver or team
manager. It will be called F1 Online The Game and will be a free-to-play F1 management
game playable through your web browser giving players the chance to create and run
their own grand prix team. As this is being developed by Codemasters it will be an
officially licensed game with all the cars and circuits from the 2011 season plus
you can customize your own cars and tracks. Players watch the action from a helicopter
style camera view looking down at and following the cars as they race around the
lap. F1 Online The Game’s release date is set for the first quarter of 2012, players
who wish to take part in the beta testing can apply at the official Codemasters website.
